Pineapple is a strong flavor, and is the perfect fruit to mix with greens when juicing, because it covers up any bitter taste that might come from the greens. I'm feeling awake and refreshed on my second day of juicing. And I love just coming up with ideas of different mixtures to juice. They all have been coming out tasty! I like to keep the recipes simple with not too many ingredients, because I don't want to spend too much. Especially when juicing for a long period, like 7 days.
I remembered buying a pineapple, kiwi, and mint juice and loving it. Thats what inspired me to make this pineapple kiwi green juice. I always like to add lemon to my juices, especially when drinking them in the morning, because I want to boost my metabolism. Lemon juice also helps to clear your skin, soothe digestion, and cleanse.
- 1/2 pineapple (skin peeled)
- 3 oz. of spinach (1/2 a 6 oz. package)
- 3 sprigs of mint leaves
- 1 small lemon
- 2 kiwis (peeled)
Juice all these ingredients together, mix, and serve with ice cubes!
