When juicing and making green juices I always try to use more vegetables than fruit, because of the high sugar content in fruit. It's important not to overload your body with sugar, because these will just aid in the production of fat and candida, and we don't want that to happen.
Green apples are one fruit with the lowest amount of sugar in them, and I use them a lot when juicing. They are also low glycemic.
This recipe is refreshing and light, it doesn't have a strong bitter flavor at all. I like to drink all my juices cold so I add a few ice cubes in my glass before drinking.
If you ever feel hungry when juicing and have cravings, remember to listen to your body. This a sign to make another juice, and drink more water. It's super important to drink plenty of water when juicing, to help wash out all the toxins that your body is filtering.
- 1 granny smith apple
- 3 large handfuls of kale
- small handful of mint leaves
- 1 lemon
- 4 celery sticks
- 6 in. piece of cucumber
Juice all of these ingredients. Stir, and enjoy!
