Citrus Ginger Juice

So my boyfriend has a cold. And of course on my second day of cleansing I'm feel a little stuffy, so I had to make this juice a powerful one. I put a lot of ginger in mine to ward off any bad bacteria, and the vitamin C thats in the grapefruit, oranges, and lemons give it that extra sweet punch. I love the flavor of citrus fruit, and they taste amazing when mixed all together.

Citrus fruits are known to improve eyesight, prevent cancer, promote weight loss, reduce stress,and are high in antioxidants. They are so beneficial to your body. I always start my day with warm ginger tea with fresh organic lemon juice. This is cleansing and healing to your body.

Ginger is amazing and I would recommend adding fresh ginger to your salads, teas, soups, stir-frys, baked goods, Β and anything else imaginable. Ginger promotes the absorption of nutrients in your body. This is essential for good digestion. Ginger clears your sinus's, which is another reason why i drink it when I feel like a cold may be coming along. Ginger also eases nausea symptoms, and is anti-immflamatory. Its pungent and powerful flavor is hard to go unnoticed and the spicy after taste will leave you feeling cleansed all around.

This citrus ginger juice is a sweet yet powerful blend that is great option to drink for or with your breakfast, or just when you feel like you might be getting a cold.

Ingredients:

One Serving

  • 2 oranges
  • 1 pink grapefruit
  • 2 small lemons
  • 1 large piece of fresh ginger

Make sure all fruits and ginger are peeled before juicing. Place in Juicer, mix together with a few ice cubes, and enjoy this refreshingly healing drink!
