After completing my certification at the world's largest nutrition school, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I knew I was on the right path.

Do you have a passion for eating healthy? Taking care of yourself? Do you like listening to others and helping them solve their problems? Do you want to have a positive impact on the world?

My journey began after graduating college and realizing that a nine-to-five behind-the-desk job wasn't going to feed my soul, or help people. I had a passion for cooking, working out, holistic health, and listening and understanding other peoples problems. It was obvious that all of my passions combined were calling me to become a health coach. 

You can do so much with this certification, the possibilities are seemingly endless, and the health industry is booming! You can begin your own business, work alongside holistic health and alternative medicine practitioners, open up your own fitness or yoga studio, create a health centered brand or product, open up a restaurant highlighting your healthy food and recipes, or become a health coach specializing in weight-loss, or digestive issues, for example. The Institute of Integrative Nutrition's course will guide you towards the direction best suited for you, and you'll be feeling invigorated to work, because work will be enjoyable and you'll be doing something that you love.

The best part about The Institute for Integrative Nutrition's program is that it teaches you to view everyone as having their own "bio-individuality." Everyone doesn't respond the same way to one way of eating, exercising, or living, we also have to look at someone as more than just these things on the surface. We have learn about their personal relationships, past health history, and work environment, and see how these have an impact on their stress and eating patterns. This holistic approach is what made me fall in love with the program, looking at a person's life overall in every way, instead of just nutrition like a dietitian or nutritionist would. You will also learn directly from the source and listen to lectures from wellness leaders like, Dr. Mark Hyman, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Oz, Dr. Andrew Weil, Gabrielle Bernstein, and more. 

I can honestly say that deciding to enroll in The Institute for Integrative Nutrition completely changed the direction of my life, and it's made me excited about what I do for a living.

Dorit Jaffe received her health coach certification from the world's largest nutrition school, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I work with women to heal digestive issues, manage stress, lose weight, sleep better, and learn to eat healthier. We work together to incorporate new ways of eating, and living. You will gain more energy, glowing skin, sleep better, feel healthier, and never want to go back to your old ways. No more fad dieting, and struggling with weight loss, and keeping the weight off.  Our bodies crave and need nourishment. My philosophy is no matter what diet you follow, to always incorporate foods that are organic, plant-based, and minimally processed . This way you are receiving beneficial nutrients and inhibiting any harmful toxins from entering your body. You will notice more glowing skin, longer hair, more energy, and overall better mood.

✨True story: I had a mezcal last night. 🥃Rarely do I drink, but when I do, it’s tequila. 🤦🏻‍♀️However, every time I drink it reminds me that...man I don’t miss drinking..😴I feel tired and woozy the next day, and not like my usual energetic self. ❣️Not to mention I only had one drink, and feel this way! 👫Everyone is different, but I truly believe in living a life of balance. ⚖️Not living in excess or extremes and listening to your body while still allowing yourself to have fun, with whatever that means for you. 🥗 So this nourishing plate of food is to help replenish my body and take care of it today. 💕Last morning spent in NY with my love @iamrevox who also always helps nourish my soul with good deep conversations and laughs. 🙌🏼

🥦Lentil soup is something I’ll make during the week when I want to make something simple and hearty. 🍅I have my rotation of simple go-to dinners, and this is one of my favorites in the winter. 🍲With the lack of Spring warmth in the air, I figured this recipe would be the best option. 🍵 Nothing a hot bowl of soup can’t fix! 🤷🏻‍♀️

🎂 A few weeks ago I was a part of throwing one of my best friends from childhood her SURPRISE bridal shower! ❣️Not only did I feel old haha..I also felt very blessed to be growing alongside someone that has been there since the beginning (👯‍♀️ you know, the friends that just get you without even having to say anything)... 🍊 it was the perfect day filled with fruit trees, food and friends, the best mixture to celebrate love. 💕 Love you guys @nikiarodriguez @jeffbroadway 👰🏻🤵🏻

Because I notice they make me breakout..some people can’t live without certain foods, while others react differently. 🌰This grain-free granola is a mixture of nuts, coconut flakes, maple syrup, cinnamon, and dried cranberries. 🍓That’s the beauty about nutrition, you have creative freedom to decide what whole foods you want to use to nourish YOUR body. 🥒If you decide to take out certain foods from your diet, don’t worry, there are tons of healthy and flavorful alternatives out there!

🥛Cereal doesn’t have to be an overly processed sugary meal. 🌰You can use seeds, nuts, and dried fruit to make your own healthier version at home. 🥣I grew up on cereal and love the texture and bite, but I don’t love that store brands have a lot of additives and sugar. 🍒So this is my crunchy, tangy, and satisfying version. 🥥Made with coconut flakes, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cocao nibs, dried cranberries, and finished off with almond milk!

This vegan Caesar salad with crispy chickpea ‘croutons’ is one of my favorite things to make! 🥗 I could eat this every day! 💥Tip 101: changing the way you eat and nourish your body is not about giving up your favorite foods, it’s about getting creative and finding healthier alternatives. ⚡️I used an @ohsheglows recipe.
This may simply look like water to you, but believe me not all water is good for you. 💦 I struggled with hormonal issues all of my life (until about 5 years ago). 🙅🏻‍♀️ I dealt with painful cystic acne, irregular periods, and fatigue. 🌪 Before I really got into health, I never attributed these symptoms with what I was putting in my body. 🥛 I always thought cereal, dairy, and bread were healthy, because I was taught that most of my life. 💧 Well..it’s the same with water too. 🍹Most of us trust that any bottle of water or tap water is safe. 🚫 However, a lot of drinking water contains harmful chemicals that has been absorbed through plastic bottles or the pipes it’s travelled through. 🤒 Drinking contaminated water can wreak havoc on your endocrine system (hormone levels). 💥 So in order to prevent this it’s important to drink the highest quality. 🌈 The two best kinds of water to drink are spring water and molecular hydrogen water. 💪🏼 I started drinking molecular hydrogen water about 2 months ago now, after hearing about it  for some time and found a company that covered the cost of the system if I participated in their case study, so I figured why not try it for myself. ✨ It really does take your health to the next level.
