My passion for cooking, fitness, and health, combined with desire to help and work with other people, has led me to become a holistic health and lifestyle counselor.
I work with women in order to help them heal their digestive issues, manage stress, lose weight, sleep better, and learn to eat healthier. We work together to incorporate new ways of eating and living. As a result, you gain more energy, glowing skin; you sleep better, feel healthier, and never want to go back to your old ways. No more fad dieting and struggling with weight loss and keeping the weight off!
Our bodies crave and need nourishment! My philosophy is, no matter what diet you follow, to incorporate foods that are always organic, plant-based, and minimally processed. This way you are going to get all the beneficial nutrients and inhibit any harmful toxins from entering your body. You will notice more glowing skin, longer hair, more energy, and overall better mood.
Eating healthily is preventive medicine. It prevents the body from becoming susceptible to illness. You begin to feel more alive and eventually you stay alive longer. It is important to be healthy all around – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We all should aim at achieving a balance in our lives.
I am confident that I can help you because I have been in your shoes. I have also struggled with not knowing what to eat, my own negative body image, digestive issues, and dealing with stress; and it all became so overwhelming to me that I knew I had to take control of my life. I would love to share with you all the knowledge that I have acquired over these years and help you gain control over your life so that you feel comfortable and love the skin you're in.
After realizing that I needed to take control of my happiness and health and that simply being angry with myself and eating poorly wasn't going to get me anywhere, I made a life-changing decision. I began to exercise – doing the kind of exercise that I enjoyed the most – running outside, hiking, and taking classes at the gym. I cooked more meals at home, and portion controlled my meals, which helped me control overeating. Then I began to eat a more plant-based diet and enjoyed sharing my recipes and food photographs on Instagram @wholehealthyglow.
It certainly takes longer than one day to heal yourself; and change the way you think, as well as your unhealthy habits. It takes patience, experimentation, and time. The time I have been investing in working with my clients is the time that they gain to get a clearer view of their lives. A healthy lifestyle is nothing like a fad dieting. It is achieved through implementing new habits, by changing the way you think and learning more about nutrition and what works best for your body. Everyone is different, of course, and I work with every my client based on their specific needs.
